I have, for the last couple of years, held solo exhibitions with the help of Savills during the Maritime Festival quayside on the Ipswich Marina.

The marina is delightful and full of light and colour which is inspiring much of the year round but especially with the added roar of the crowds and the boats right outside your door!

There were thousands of people anticipated this year and many of my original works including a lot of water-themed abstract work and ‘small people’ paintings were sold over the course of the festival.

While the boats were drawing the crowds, I was also taking my chance to capture some sketches for future ‘small people’ pieces and generally enjoying people watching at any spare moment.
