I was pleased to be selected to exhibit in the Grand Palais, Paris from 24th to 29th November 2015 as part of Art en Capital, an international art exhibition attracting more than 40,000 visitors.

The ‘African Series’ is an extension of one of my first and favourite series a collection of pieces depicting the Himba of Namibia and this particular recent series of six pieces shows the different stages of life of the females of the tribe.

In an informal setting the subject is captured and painted in my style with reference to their expression and the moment. This has been a very enjoyable series to paint and I was thrilled to be able to share this work on such a grand stage.
